The African Village Cottages
This Unique concept of the African Village Cottages depicts an African style with each cottage representing an African country where majority of our Refugees come from. i.e Kenya, Sudan, Rwanda, Somalia, DRC Congo.
Director to the 22nd world scout jamboree in sweden 2011.
It was a very exciting news when in July 2011, the Director/Chaplain SPACID of Kyangwali Refugee settlement Rev. Kizito was selected to be one of the country’s outstanding official and senior scout to attend the 22nd world scout Jamboree which was to take place at Rinkaby in Sweden.
To nurture and train our refugees and the host nationals around the settlement in the love of God. And to heal them from the begging syndrome to self-development and sustenance through self-help income generating project. Thus ,building a just and peaceful society in which each can live to the fullness potential, free to associate, and sharing the simple resources and abilities with neighbours for the common good…"that we may live together".
